World in Conflict Media Released

Vivendi Games has sent along yet another set of screenshots drawn from Massive Entertainment's upcoming real-time strategy game World in Conflict. Along with the screens comes a gameplay trailer set to the Tears for Fears classic "Everybody Wants to Rule the World." World in Conflict is currently undergoing a closed beta test. The game is set to ship for PC this fall.

Let me just say that this may be the most enjoyable beta I've ever been in. It's a bit hard on the hardware, but then again my stuff is getting dated. Also, I <3 the nukes :-D

Does anyone know what time this is based in? The apache longbow is new and it is modern but the tanks look like there from Vietnam, some even look like their from WWII.
