The DC area looks as if there is global cooling (very low tide/low water surface level) -- or they dammed up the water level somewhere.
Whereas the city with the aircraft carrier (nyc - Intrepid or somewhere else) obviously appears that global warming with very high water levels happened at a point - but starting to recede maybe?
I know in the previous fallout games everything was pretty much set in what appeared to be a hot, dry, wasteland - with the exception of the oil rig. I wonder what kind of weather/climate effects we'll also see now.
