E3 Press Conference Schedule Released
by Chris Remo, May 25, 2007 11:38am PDTThe E3 Business & Media Summit was updated this week with the official publisher press conference for the upcoming Santa Monica, California trade show. In line with the more structured format of this year's event, there appears to be a greater focus on third-party publisher conferences than there traditionally has been at E3. Microsoft kicks off the week on the evening of Tuesday, July 10, the day before the show's official start date. Nintendo and Sony Computer Entertainment America are scheduled to present the following morning. Wednesday, July 11 will see press conferences from Electronic Arts, Activision, Midway, and Konami. Take-Two, THQ, Ubisoft, Namco Bandai Games, and Disney Interactive Studios will address the press on Thursday, July 12. Oddly, nearly all of the press conferences are scheduled to occur during expo and meeting hours, with the traditionally-booked two day period before E3 left almost entirely empty. The full schedule is as follows (all times Pacific; all conferences one hour in length): - Microsoft (July 10, 8:30pm) - Nintendo (July 11, 9:00am) - SCEA (July 11, 11:30am) - Electronic Arts (July 11, 2:00pm) - Activision (July 11, 3:15pm) - Midway (July 11, 4:30pm) - Konami (July 11, 5:45pm) - Take-Two (July 12, 8:00am) - THQ (July 12, 9:15am) - Ubisoft (July 12, 10:30am) - Namco Bandai (July 12, 1:00pm) - Disney Interactive (July 12, 3:30pm)
