  • Just finished the DX10 demo a little while ago. I have a pretty good system, framerate during the benchmark was 33 fps for the snow level, 46 in the cave. I thought dx10 was supposed to have much better performance then dx9, heh. I have a core 2 duo e6600, 2 gigs and a 8800gts. It looks good but it doesn't blow me away or anything. Actually, its pretty fun, I wasn't liking the lack of quicksave or checkpoints, I died at the boss twice my first 2 tries, and had to start the level from the beginning twice, but i beat it my third time through the level. The second level I only played once and played through it, the second level is much shorter then the first. I will probably order it online after it comes out, its only $40 for the PC.
