Radeon HD 2900 XT Released

The power consumption is high though, they need to get the power leakage thing under control.
Pricing seems to be decent though, but still priced higher than the market I personally fall under I'm afraid.

Also, as for noise, just wait for some of the OEM's to come out with their custom coolers...

In some of them, the 2900XT is on par or better than the 8800GTS, with a nice advantage in things like the Call of Juarez Directx10 demo.
In others, is inferior than the 8800GTS, with only being on par with it in a couple of games.
DX10 performance doesn't seem to be too hot either.
I'm sure it will start improving with future driver revisions, but they have had quite a while to tweak them so I don't expect a miracle.
