Except for this semi-related odd piece of info that had slipped under my radar:
One MMO maker, Avatar Reality, is ready [to use CryEngine2] .it plans to use CryENGINE 2 for its upcoming MMVW (massively multiplayer virtual world) set on a "terraformed Mars."

They have one hell of a strange team: Alexei Pajitnov; Kazuyuki Hashimoto (one of the top guys from the Final Fantasy movie and games), as well as Minoru Arakawa former president of Nintendo of America .. o_O
