Its with a heavy heart that I bring you the inevitable. I just got off the phone with mr.sleepy and he asked me to let the rest of you know his mother died today.

I'm not really good at what to do or say in this situation, and I asked mr.sleepy what we can do to help. For now, I think its best to respect the family's privacy.

I just found out that after I moved my ex-employer sent a check to me but they sent it to my old address before I had mail forwarding active. My ex-roommates received this check and most likely threw it away as I never got it. If my ex-employer cannot send me another check is there any kind of action I can take against my old roommates to get that money from them?

The magazine Games for Windows shows up in my mailbox today, and while it's free, oh god the writing. The last article is so bad. Some clips:

...a fighter, who would use melee weapons to "hit enemies," according to lead designer Helje Bendt.
...
The first time I glazed upon the gorgeous water effects on display...my eyes literally popped out of my head.
...
At times when I playing, some of the sounds in the game seemed so "real" to me that they were more real than "real life." I would turn around quickly to see if something behind me, like a goblin, only to realize it was the game all along!
...
Hitting with a sword, for example, will not, as in many other games, feel the same as hitting with a staff. Both will be different, in totally unique ways.

Maybe this is a parody and I haven't realized it yet. I haven't read any of the other articles, but if anyone else received it for free, the last article is pretty entertaining in its awfulness.

So the Nvidia 8600 doesn't seem to be worthy of a purchase, especially with the 8800s going for only $75 more for a big perf bump.

Last week, abrasion kept complaining about the 8800s, saying they're overpriced.

If I have an array in Java that is initialized as 5 blanks to start with, how do I fill in the user's input for each character space. The game is hangman and they have 5 guesses and each time the array must check if the guess is right and then input that character. Color me confused.

What the hell is with Benadryl? I can take a couple tylenol pm every once and a while and it might make me a little tired, but never THAT tired. But if I take even ONE Benadryl, it's like I just drank 10 beers. I mean, it helps with my allergies, but then again, I'm so tired and disconnected at that point I doubt I'd notice anyways.

I was just told that I'm diabetic.

My last regular blood sugar reading was about 80, which is within normal ranges.

When they did my labs last week to check on the progress of my infection, they found my bloog sugar was at 325. It's down to 270 today, but it's still entirely too high.

So, bye bye Coca-Cola. Blech.
