The folks at Gearbox Software let us know that they are looking to hire an AI programmer for their upcoming Aliens game. "This position will work closely with the code and design teams to develop ultra-realistic game AI for a next-generation PC and console FPS game." as much as I enjoy aliens, I think gearbox or someone should just buy up the natural selection peeps and pay them some well earned cash, and help them get NS:Source done.

Gearbox's HL mission pack Opposing Force was great. I hope this turns out as good. I didn't really care for brothers in Arms though.

This is an extremely interesting position. Aren't their some shackers who work at Gearbox? I know someone once built a list of (known) game dev shackers and where they work but I forget where that is. I'd love to speak to someone who works at Gearbox if any of you guys are around. =D

The Aliens movies were my favorite "monster" movies. They still haunt my nightmares from time to time.

I hope this will be an ultra-realistic game that captures the tension and fear of all the poor bastards who were fighting the Aliens in the films.
