Well, if this is going to be primarily a single player game with multiplayer as an after thought then I’ll pass on the whole thing, I still concede it was the bastardizing of game play by the community with things like low grav insta gib servers that kept most people away from online play, the other factor is custom maps in rotation with no easy way to acquire them quickly – and when you did they were primarily the skewed reality of tiny soldiers stuck in someone’s oversized bedroom or house.

I’m not in favor of the art direction this game has taken either, extremely oversized characters with even larger weapons blocking your view is pretty stupid, nobody cares about all their detail and massive poly count when they switch to no weapon view.

Last but not least is the overshadowing impact of the game being developed for consoles as well as pc’s, will they sell out to Microsoft and require players to use the “Windows Live” service? Will the gameplay suffer with regards to interface and controls?

I guess we’ll find out “when it’s done”.

anyone else read the "preview" and think WHAT THE FUCK is Will Porter smoking. This article is not a freaking preview, it's some guy rambling on like an idiot. It reads like a novel and not a fucking preview for a game.
