by Steve Gibson, Mar 28, 2007 6:00pm PDTWell C&C3 showed up at my door today. Hopefully I'll get some time to play around this weekend with it. The demo didnt really feel like anything particularly new but I think I'm most looking forward to the live actors and their hokey lines. I want you guys to seriously consider these tonight:
- We're all a bunch of morons - Wacky hexagon - McCain digs lesbians - MS buying Doubleclick? - How is Vista really selling?Lastly, Dinosaurs died from too much coke/whores
I thought the AI in this game was supposed to be good (good like from fear). I took on the first mission: opted to go it alone, and found the 5 or so enemies overwhelming me - so I backed off, and circled around 90 degrees to them, came over the hill and picked them off one by one. They didn't try to take cover or anything, they just stood there in the middle of an empty field shooting at me with shotguns
Also - what are those weird pulses that happen and end up hurting me like hell if I walk through them? Are these the anomalies everyone is speaking of - and why does the instruction manual say that some will heal you?
