I have been informed that the patch changes a lot in singleplayer that hasn't been documented in the notes. For example, traders now sell a lot more things and they are more expensive which gives you a greater insentive to do side quests in order to get money. Also armour now degrades with a blue bar.-

I think most of the "popular" ones to come out the last 10 years at least..nothing matches the atmosphere of this game. The A.I. is impressive, I've never been flanked so many times in a game before, and the way they use cover is awesome. The gameplay is hard, which is a nice change from most shooters. All the small RPG-elements really add to it too, even the annoying weight limit. I hope Bethesda take notes, this is really how I'd like to see fallout 3 turn out, just a little more polish, and more fleshed out on the RPG side of things obviously.

That's a big change. I can't find new armor for shit, and in a game this challenging, i.e. people dropping like flies left and right (I help with this effort quite a bit) you'd think there'd be plenty of secondhand suits to wear. Sheesh.
That's making me think about patching even though I'm a few hours in. Hm. -
