i think you "get" into marketing by starting at the bottom of the totem pole as a marketing intern or coordinator, depending on her experience. then you work up. with more experience and proven programs run, more opportunities will open.
an MBA will help making connections and get you into upper management. -

I can reveal that it deals heavily with marketing.
