In all the Super Paper Mario shots there are two kids, aboy and girl, who we can tell are "hip" and into this newfangled Internet and their web2.0 by clues such as jeans with holes in them (WTF that's still a fashion?).
In all but one of these shots the girl is sitting there watching the boy play. She's not allowed to play. Her place is in the kitchen, obviously.
Except for one picture. In it the girl finally is allows to touch the boy's Wii (your cue to snicker) and is playing the game herself. And the accompanying screenshot to explain why she is suddenly allowed one moment of fun? It's the part where you're playing as Princess Peach. Meanwhile the boy looks onward, disinterested. After all, who wants to play as a girl?
It's just something I noticed and thought was kind of funny. Really, the whole series reminds me of the old Nintendo marketing from the 80's.
