The disaster that is Vanguard just keeps getting better. Today was supposed to be a patch that added some game changes and a ton of new art assets. In addition, players got the following:

Clipping in parts of the words has been disabled, allowing players to stumble into trees, boulders and falling through parts of the world into oblivion.

Missing graphics for weapons.

Missing combat animations.

Hidden nerfs to classes across the board.

Subscriptions vanishing.

Just a small taste. The only people left defending the game, we shall call them the "Vanboys" have been driven into such a psychotic rage by people complaining, that they've taken to insisting it's your own fault...for no logging into the test server and helping Sigil test the game.

Yes, that's right, It's your responsibility to test the game now as well.

Worst mmorpg launch ever.

Any other gaming sites I should post it on? I only visit shacknews. Marketing a site is so much harder than building it. :[

Also I know all you guys have ideas for games. You should probably add them. And for you programmers I wrote it in Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Yahoo UI Grids(for the UI/CSS), and prototype.js for the ajax. A little under 1000 lines of core code.

hahahah I now have a tiny ass 10x8 private room in a 3BR apartment shared with an Indian(dot) guy and French girl. "The Wii is a piece of shit!" Hecker began his talk, which was called "Fear of a Wii Planet." He blasted a few bars of Public Enemy to set the tone. Hecker said the Wii is nothing more than two GameCubes stuck together with duct tape, and that the console isn't powerful enough to provide the next-gen experience he has been waiting for.

Although he stated the system is "severely underpowered," Hecker noted that he wasn't simply referring to the Wii's graphical capabilities. He wants to spend a console's CPU making games more intelligent, and he has found the Wii doesn't have the power to process things like complicated AI.

Hecker also took Nintendo to task for not taking games seriously enough. "It's not clear to me that Nintendo gives a shit about games as an art form," he said. To illustrate his point, he searched for references to games as art on all three console manufacturers web sites. While he found numerous such references on both the official PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 sites, Wii.com had none at all. He then shared quotes from executives at Sony and Microsoft talking about games as a serious artistic medium, and then a quote from a Nintendo executive saying the company only wanted to make "fun" games.

Hecker ended his spirited rant with two demands for Nintendo: First, recognize and push games as serious art. And two, "make a console that doesn't suck ass."

Does anyone know the setup name for an installation where the device will pickup the other WAP seemlessly if it has a better signal strength, like walking between the two buildings even both signals are detectable?

I had a guy fondle my balls yesterday.

I went to a walk in clinic yesterday to see what is the matter with me. Goddammit the guy could barely speek english. "I have a problem with my testicles, they are aching and sore" I said, as I stand there with only my shirt on. He grabs my package and squeezes. he does not even ask me to fucking cough. UH ok. He asks. 'How long you have sex?' Err? I give him a blank stare for I did not understand what he said. he repeats himself. I give the stare again. He says 'You know, sex.. FUCK FUCKING'.. AHHH .. um it's been two years, now HE gives ME the blank stare. I think he was shocked. He goes, 'oh that is just build up ect.' I told him that I take care of that 'build up' daily. I don't think it sunk in. I did not want to waste anymore time with this 'doctor' so I made an excuse to get out of there. This guy was a total idiot.

So with some research and talking to a couple friends, it seems like I have a groin pull and both my boys are aching more now than before. Gonna see another doctor tomorrow to have it checked out again. It's a dull ache that is constand, like the feeling your balls get 15 mins after you been hoofed in the package.

Good thing is, I may be taking some time off work.

Workout Menz:

Yesterday morning I met with a personal trainer for the first time to help me expand my workout set. That dude kicked my ass (in a very good way). Yesterday evening when I went to bed, I felt 110%. When I woke up this morning, I was fine. I did my morning work but after lunch, out of nowhere, omfg! My hamstrings are fucking killing me. I couldn't even lift my arms by 5pm.

But I can live with this, this is good. However, I need to minimize this. Also, am I supposed to rest when this happens or keep going? I was thinking I should just stick to a run today and go back to the weights tomorrow. The guy is supposed to email me a full "this is what you do" schedule but he hasn't yet. :(

I can't even play my lousy 360 anymore without it freezing. I'm so sick of this damn console now.

I bought Def Jam Icon and GRAW2 today, the games load up, and once you get into the game and actually start playing, you get a flash of graphical artifacts on the screen, and it's frozen.

I'm so tempted to get one of the new MS Ergonomic keyboards to replace my G15. I love my G15, and I actually use the LCD a fair amount; but I also grew up on natural keyboards, and ever since I switched to the G15 my carpal tunnel has gotten way worse, and my typing has gone to absolute shit. It's been a year now and I'm just tired of it.

Why can't they just make an ergonomic g15 :(

Gah this is buggin me, i have an AMD X2 4800+ and built the computer its in about a year ago, everythings runnin fine, but i notice on speed fan that my cpu is alot hotter than it should be, so i got rid of stock cpu fan that came with cpu and bought a zalman 9500am2 fan. Set it all up and this shits still hot, i.e. playing bf2 for like 15 mintues and its up to 77 degrees, thats not near what it should be am i right? I pretty sure i installed it correctly, i even took it off and started over and it only went down a little so i dunno wtfs wrong, any tips would be appreciated.

So DirecTV gots a new channel, "Chiller", channel 257. It's all thriller/horror/suspense movies and shows. So far all I've seen is some movies from the 80's and early 90's. Now they got something I recognize on, a show called MONSTERS!.

Well they're commercials with previews look like they got some good movies to show, so here's hoping it gets good.

Ever been happy to have a collector call you? I just got a message from an agency for a debt from something like 2003 that I never knew about and then just got charged off. It's been a pain in my credit rating's ass ever since. Well it's into collections (I thought once it was charged off that was that) and FINALLY they're getting a hold of me. I didn't really know how to get a hold of them and it'll just be good to have this debt dead.

(it was a medical bill that my insurance company didn't pay and should have and then I moved - I'm sick of disputing it on that level)

So is my relief and willingness to pay this a good thing? Or am I doing something stupid here?
