There where 4 patches I think? The last one, 1.20 wasn't very well recieved from many in the community. The made the end boss much more difficult to defeat, almost impossible. And they also nerfed alot of the rare drops throughout. So I went back and have been playing with the 1.15 patch. No problems, and fun as can be. I love the look of the new areas, and the atmosphere overall. Definetly picking this up on launch day.
On a side note, for anybody interested, there is an application called "TitanCalc" that lets you preview all the skill trees in the game, and bascially mix and match to see what your character specs would be. And it now includes the new skill mastery "Dream Mastery" from the upcoming expansion. You can see it here:
