Marc Ecko's Getting a Human Head

Marc Ecko Entertainment, the video game studio recently formed by clothing entrepreneur Marc Ecko, today announced that it is partnering with Prey (X360, PC) and Rune (PC) developer Human Head Studios to develop a new game for current generation consoles. No details regarding the nature of the game have been released beyond that it is an action title. "Our entire team is focused on working side by side with Human Head's core group to develop an action title that is truly ambitious in scope. Our job is to change perceptions of what a game can be," said Marc Ecko Entertainment president Mike Lynch.

"As a huge fan of Prey, I am psyched to have the opportunity to watch Human Head enhance our vision and bring it to life," said Ecko. "It's sort of like drawing up the play for the 'to win' basket and having Jordan there to execute it to perfection."

"When we first met with Marc's team, we were excited by the creative vision that they brought to the table and the fact that they weren't afraid to take risks," said Human Head president Paul MacArthur. "We're ready to give players a brand new ride."

Ecko became involved in the games industry with his contributions to The Collective's Marc Ecko's Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure (PS2, Xbox, PC), released last year by Atari. The founding of Marc Ecko Entertainment, a division of Marc Ecko Enterprises, was announced earlier this month. Ecko himself will contribute to the studio's projects, with Marc Fernandez heading up its creative direction. Previously, Fernandez contributed to Getting Up as well as to Rockstar North's Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (PS2, Xbox, PC) and Rockstar San Diego's Midnight Club II (PS2, Xbox, PC).

Hopefully HH is still doing Prey 2. That is really all I care about. They have done 2 games interanlly at the same time before. Heck even though Prey was in development from 2001-2006, Dead Mans Hand was in development from 2002-2004, so for around half of Prey dev time they where doing 2 games at a time.
