i still think that all the eye candy in the world won't make a game great unless it has meat on its bones, i.e. a great story to draw you in.
personally, most of the time i play games (singleplayer almost exclusively) i have little objection to cheating my way through (very little gaming time in RL), because i love the story part of the game and i want to see the ending.
there's been plenty of games that had nice graphics and eye candy, but i could tell the story was weak and it didn't draw me in, so i didn't even bother cheating on it to finish it, just uinstalled it (and ebayed it) and moved on to something better.

Not really a big suprise, considering that Raven's new Wolfenstein title is using 360 for it's primary development, but still interesting.
