Does anyone know if this is starforce free? I lost a hard drive because of that crap in the past and I'd like to avoid losing another.

This reminds me of Ubersoldier in some respects. The cornball dialog and wooden voice acting, the linear keycard hunting and less-than-useful powers (did ANYONE use that stupid time shield in Ubersoldier?). If you've played a shooter made in Eastern Europe then you've played this before.

It's not an awful game but I'm sure not going to buy it.

Pretty cool, really slick presentation and very nice graphics. I don't usually care for third-person shooters, but they're definitely getting better. Interesting also that it's from a Polish developer, given that it reminded me of Painkiller somehow.

I have no idea how anyone could even say this is "meh"

- Horrible voice acting (in fact, I thought it was a joke at first... but they're actually trying .)
- 20 minutes in and you've still only fought monks carrying either shuriken or handguns.
- Cliche music that repeats for EVERY fight. It's some generic distorted guitar w/ a basic Amen Break tossed in and a SIREN. I NEED A SIREN. SOMEONE GIMME A SIREN.
- Artwork is so, so generic. Someone should tell the devs that turning on every gfx card effect (HDR, AA, lens flare, motion blur) doesn't hide a bland color palette and low poly objects.
- Not a single challenging battle or puzzle. The one time I had to look for a key, it was in a cabinet 3 feet away.
- "Special powers" are so laughably basic, and actually, the entire game just seems to be a half-assed copy of Requiem: Avenging Angel (heaven v. hell + magical powers).

This game will tank.

Pretty cool... I like it but the controls could use a bit of tweaking (moving around in the rooms with the curtains was kind of annoying)

eh, somewhat meh unless you count the graphics. it's no max payne in the gameplay department and it felt kinda annoying shooting guys with bald unprotected heads several times before they kicked it.

just checked it out and i agree.. its not bad at all. doesnt blow me away but feels pretty well executed and could make for a good few hours of gaming. ran pretty well on the laptop even. (acer 8100)

Other than some passable voice acting and some funky initial control setup (crouch/sneak should be ctrl, not what it is), this is a lot of fun (Ive played the demo from a coverdisc a few weeks ago)

There is a lot of polish added to it, and the graphics and sound effects are rather good. The guns all sound very meaty and powerful, and they are.

Someone please tell me this doesn't have tank-style controls.

I've played this game a bunch at various events. It's a lot of fun. Can't vouch for how good this demo is, but I'll download it and see.
