haha:
You read the book. The book is a book of spells! Wait, no... it's a book of spells for a tabletop fantasy roleplaying game.
For my lvl 10 Shackhype Shepherd, are any of the skills useful, or should I learn spells with my CPs? I have cast spell and prayer.

This game may be my thesis on how nasty good the Valley is this year.

DR2 is likely yeah? Seems DR sold really well, and Capcom love milking franchises. Coop please!

Holy crap talk about the most cliched and predictable top gun rip off in the world.
The last 10 mins made me cringe almost to the point I couldn't watch it.

Not considering the cost of a new monitor, what kind of gaming PC could I put together for about $800? is that a reasonable amount to spend? I don't want to go crazy and buy all top of the line stuff, but I want something that can run new-ish games pretty decently.

liquid plumber for the motherfucking win. all you haters best recognize its leet skillz!
my sink was still backed the fuck up last night when i went to bed, and when i woke up the next morning, it was still just as full and the water level didn't move a single inch.
as came home from work i was thinking about what i should do next, and when i walked into my kitchen to my surprise the entire sink was drained! and the clog was gone! sure, it needed 23 hours more than what the bottle said, but this stuff eventually decided to throw down hardcore.
not only that, but my sink now has a new shiny finish to it thanks to it soaking in a concoction of fucked up acids and other chemicals for 24 hours straight! yay!

I've got the strangest problem with windows atm, one I've never seen before.
I just did a complete reformat and fresh install of xp about 5 days ago, and everything was working fine. Lately however, it's been doing some pretty weird and frustrating things. Like right now for example, I cannot open up any new windows, no programs nothing, not even explorer. When I try to do ctrl-alt-del it just makes that low pitch error sound and nothing comes up. In the menus on programs I have open now, when I try to access something in there, it gives me the same sound and nothing happens. I've tried using the keyboard to access them and open up new windows and it does the same thing. I can't even use the shack tag window here to change the colors in my post.
I have no installed anything crazy, and I've been trying to install/run some antispyware but I can't get the damn windows to come up!. I've had nod32 running from the day I reinstalled xp. And xp is fully updated etc.
Sometimes when I had explorer open, and X'd out that window, everything started working again. Rebooting fixes temporarily, but it keeps coming back. Has anyone had this crazy problem?

A really good sci-fi short story. According to the quotes, out of all the stories he created, this was Asimov's favorite. I just read for the first time and thought it was great. I thought I would share, since its a quick read:

1) is there any advantage to using windows media player over winamp for mp3's?
2) smoking aces, yay or nay?

I just got my computer shipped back to me. I rebuilt it, etc, and plugged in my Logitech 5.1 system. All software checks out fine, but I can only get sound from the rear, center and subwoofer. My left and right channels are dead. What gives? I recall having this problem before, but I can't remember how I fixed it...

I just bought a copy of Diablo, two things I'm curious:
- There's no key anywhere in the package, did it used one?
- Once installed there just 1.7Mb used on the HDD, wtf is that right?
And video is awful on Vista =(

i told my oldest sister about the miss video game awards, and how i went from 45 to 77 votes overnight cause of the shack. she got all excited about it and asked if she could vote.
...then sent mass email to everyone she knows tell them to vote for me.
i don't know whether i'm proud, or very, very ashamed.

The game was fun and I liked exploring, but it didn't ever feel harrowing. Maybe I was just getting started, but it seemed rather easy.
The verdict: unless reviews say the full version has glaring errors, this is a purchase. Nice work MGS!

I need some honest opinions. I know it's probably rubbish, but I always enjoy checking these sort of things out. Is anyone actually playing it? More importantly, is it fun?
I'm assuming it's massively flawed and ultra buggy :(

I was thinking of getting Titan Quest, but I don't know if it's any good or if it would run well. I wanted to get Divine Divinity, or even Sacred, but I can't find it around here. That leaves not much choice, I would suspect.
