They also released a public beta months ago. Most everyone who was interested and following things got a chance to actually play the game themselves. That was even better than the movies :)

The best thing Gas Power did for this game preretail was to release actually ingame footages. Although I had played TA back in the day, I wasn't so sure about Supreme Commander until just recently. Take heed other developers! I want ingame movies/screenshots of people actually playing, not your quasi ingame posed crap (ET:QW screenshots comes to mind).
