IGN has a S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl preview posted, going hands-on with a preview build of the game. Game Informer also has a preview. The GSC Game World shooter will finally be released this March.

That Game Informer preview has me worried, they seemed to think there's still an awful lot of polish left to be done. I hope this game doesn't come out like Boiling Point, and be such a bug riddled mess that it's unplayable.

This will be the first game out that gives me the incentive I need to build a new pc. I have 4yrs on my current setup so I'm due.

Also - S.T.A.L.K.E.R. does support widescreen resolutions. What a novel idea :0
