  • I dont care about previews...My sole decision for whether or not to buy this game is the presence or absence of subscription fees, or if it's a sub-$60 per year subscription which I think is more down to earth, not the absurd $15 per month like "True" mmorpgs which aren't really that fun to play anyways...so much grind, both lvl and item wise and relatively little control over the action sequences...example:

I see a flesh eating rat...
*click button to initiate attack sequence
*wait a second or two while not pressing anything
*you hit rat for 4 damage
    *another 3 seconds
*rat hits you for 300 damage! Critical Hit!
    *click Hand of God skill
*5 seconds later after waiting for it to be cast
    *Spell failed
*rat bites your arm off for 20 damage
*you hit rat for 27 damage
    *4 minutes later
*you have killed a flesh eating rat
    *click on rats corpse
*You have found the super duper rare item excaliber
    *item stats: +2 damage
    *your thoughts " FUCK YEAH"

I like FPS style...you actually control each and every shot, not just the special abilities that you can only activate once a minute or so and have no control at all over whether or not you hit the big bad rat since it's been predetermined by a percent chance hit/miss ratio

That is why I want Hellgate: London and not a generic MMORPG. This is also the reason why I got bored with Guild Wars after 3 months on and off.

Worst case, I'll have Supreme Commander to put me at ease
