Funcom sent out a press release, announcing their adventure game Dreamfall: The Longest Journey is now on Steam. For the first two weeks the game is available for $29.99, the price will go up to $39.99 after that.

Is it just me or is steam turning into the place where games that didn't do that well in retail go to try and get a second chance?

Obviously there are exceptions to this but it seems like for the most part steam is like a really well stocked second hand game store.

Don't get me wrong I actually really like that rare and difficult to find games are showing up on steam (psychonauts).

Played it on xbox. It has flaws and boring sections but overall I thoroughly enjoyed it, so much so that I went looking for any recent similar games to play though (of which I found none).

Anyone have a problem with the controls? I tried the demo and found it really difficult. Not as bad as Grim Fandango but closer than any other game I can remember.
