I honestly don't see the problem with these visuals.

Thats on par with Source and Source is still plenty attractive. Obviously it would be great if every game had Crysis level fidelity but this, this I can live with.

When STALKER was first announced, the things that really piqued our interest were its ambitious aims, the freeform gameplay and realistic AI. But over the years, many features have been dropped, the AI's been scaled back and the levels that we played through appeared to be disappointingly scripted, although how much this applies to the whole game is still unclear.

The visuals I can live with, the lack of intriguing gameplay I cannot(well I can live with it but I'll probably pass on the game if it relies on scripted gameplay rather than emergent gameplay).
