Is anyone else tired of the current vogue in trailers which feature a series of 1-2 second clips interspersed with strobing and picture distortion effects? It's been the theme for most horror and action film commercials for a few years now and in typical fashion the gaming industry apes it, only with inferior editing. Trailers which focus on showing a specific gameplay segment are much better, and I imagine much more successful in enticing people towards the game. That is unless your game isn't any good, and you therefore try to show as little of it as possible before release.
