2K Games has released the first Sid Meier's Railroads! patch, updating the game to version 1.01. The 17mb update offers a large number of bug fixes, performance improvements, AI enhancements and interface changes.

Haven't played yet, but this looks like a huge list of basic needed fixes. Now hopefully more complex issues like the track laying and map scale will be addressed.

Joy! Downloading ASAP, that is an awesome list of fixes/changes. Was waiting for this before I played the game any more.

  You know what drives me nuts, though? ZIPs that contain one EXE file, which is already compressed. Way to... : Goncyn
  - It's for security reasons. Many FTP sites (ours, for one) won't let you put anything other than compresse... : jason bergman
