  • The only way to conceivably return a pc game now days is with a receipt and it be unopened...

Now if you have opened it... you must now reseal it...

You will need access to circle clear stickers or a shrink wrapping machine... I used to do it homemade and it was tough BUT doable..

Homemade shrinkwrapping : Buy a kit of window clear plastic sheet insulation (comes in a box that you attach in a window and then heat shrink)...

Carefully make an envelope that will allow a seal similar to the original...

The hard part.... sealing... you can use a real license plate... heat up the plate with an iron or on a stove (USE GLOVES!) ... when it is hot enough... barely seam the edge of the plastic to make a seal... do this for all 3 sides ... not too tight... you will need to shrink it... not too loose or it will look sloppy... Now cut off the excess plastic beyond the seam.... then trim again to get the little pieces (be careful to NOT cut the melted seam or you will have to reseam the seam)...

Use a heat gun or a hair dryer on high...

Do not over heat it.... gently swing the dryer side to side whereas the plastic you are heating will barely even get a draft... slowly the plastic will shrink over the box... continue until you are satisfied with it.... Heat it too much and it will tear and it could mean start all over... Heat it too little and it will have pock marks...

It is a science... this is how I returned over 250 games in my past.... hell with buying them... just 'rent' them! >:)
