It's has a much more user friendly interface than Downloader. That was just a list of games, and of course this supports ie7 finally.

i installed this, and now 2142 errors out at random (i hear the xp 'error' sound) so i alt-tab out and i see this msg box:

memory.dll:sanity check:block size -1671744 (4094.41mb) doesn't seem sane

...and then i click 'continue' and it pops another one up saying:

memory.dll:all alloc attempts failed for size -1671744

..and then it closes. Any idea's? I have 2gigs of ram and like 10+ gigs hdd space free for virtual ram.

Sigh.

Stay away from this for now if you got 2142 through EA downloader. It will invalid your cd key and require you to redownload the whole 2 gig package and reinstall. I'm going through that right now. :( That said, the new interface looks rather slick.
