Niki (evil double personality chick): Think maybe the good side of her is dead and she's 100% evil now? At first I thought DL grabbed into her lungs, but the second shot shows him going through the lungs and choking her neck. Maybe it was one of those "changed at last moment after the show got picked up and actors signed on for longer" type of things... or maybe not. Anyway, she can't be dead-dead because the "precog" painted her with her eyes open and very much smirking, even though she was bleeding from the nose. Figure that's the comic panel he said previously was missing? Or was that just some other picture he was messing with (and discovering the tattoo)?
Pixie neighbour silly fox, neighbour is a word ;): What's her power? I got that feeling when the glasses man said, "we both know you can do better than that." He could have been referring to sexual persuasion, but then she added that she was sure Mohinder will be coming back--so assuming she's sure he'll come back because of her, then she might have something else under her sleeve.
Then again Mohinder doesn't seem like the romantic type so she probably meant that he would be coming back to find answers to his father's research. *shrug*
Not too crazy about the episode. Neither Nathan or Simone showed up. And didn't someone say Ali Larter couldn't act? I don't agree, but I think DL is even worse :(
I know the directors are probably not giving actors much direction about their character's alignment (good, bad, gun, etc.) But glasses guy plays it deliciously evil even without that information. Nathan, too. Then you got a character who just got out of prison and he's like a plank of wood with a frowny expression. :(

The player met and exceeded its rated life for MP3 files. If you listen to lower bitrate files this number will be considerably higher. As typical of WMA files, the results weren’t as nice, and considerably worse for my WMA-DRM files from Napster to Go. Overall, if you listen to MP3’s mostly as I do, then you should be pleased with these numbers.

Order them to take out a vehicle, the grenadier obeys and shoots his grenades at the vehicle but the LMG guy steps out of cover and proceeds to turn his gun towards the fucking wall next to him and unloads. Good work buddy.
Order the squad to take cover at a corner, two of them obey the other guy stands on the other side of the road taking cover behind a stack of boxes..with his back to the enemy facing the wrong way.
Order the squad to take cover behind a wall and they proceed to run around the wall to the other side to where the enemy is shooting at and just stand there.
I'm running around a building and I order them to follow me, what do they do, they run around the other side of the building to meet me head on, the only problem is the enemy was on that side and I was trying to flank.
This all in the first mission or two. I could see this getting extremely frustrating by the end.
Also the manual for this thing is a piece of shit, multiple mistakes per page, telling you the wrong buttons within the same sentence, etc.

They've listed the total minutes per month for a while, but now they list the years as well:

I didn't really realize how much time 5 billion minutes was. It's not surprising that tons of time is wasted on games, but just seeing a number like that is a bit of an eye opener. And that's pretty much just one game, within a single entertainment medium at that. Imagine if all those man hours were put towards science or something meaningful like that (not trying to say playing games is bad).

There's just over 200 to read, and they're very high quality. Quality drifts a little towards the end, but the art is always very nice and I usually laugh, too. It's sad to see it end but somewhat satisfying to have a comic just decide to be over.

But the few missions I played, it was great. GTA + 80's music = winner in my book. Looks better than LCS. The one new thing I did get to try was the shooting range. Pretty slick little minigame. If you liked LCS on the PSP, this is a must have.
If you were charged with selecting a DB and tools to develop a front end what would you do? Im leaning towards ms sql and .net VB. Is this the safest, most future proof way to go?
We curently are using paradox (shoot me), and I we want a client server model, robust, and easy to find outside help if needed.

The price recently dropped to $1500 which is a steal, but I have my concerns for gaming on it. According to everything I have read, sounds like plasmas have come a long way and have very few problems with burn-in and image retention anymore.
So for those of you who do own plasmas and play console games on them, which set do you own and have you experienced any problems at all?

I can't believe at one point I was on the fence about this game. Obsidian really pulled it off and they should be commended. I'm definitely glad I got the D2D version and got to play all day today :)
