from the look of it, it looks like the gameplay is going to be similar to that of Westwood's last game(to my knowledge) Emperor: Battle for Dume...at least in the sense of trying to take over the planet through territories, and territories giving bonuses, etc. minus all of the turn based strategy elements in the Total War franchise.

Damn I loved Emperor: Battle for Dune...such a fun game, and I loved the cinematic cutscenes. I swear they couldn't have picked a better Baron for Harkonnan than that one guy...If I remember correctly, that guy was on the show "Who's line is it anyways" at one point at least(my memory may be slipping).

anyways, back on topic...I'm definitely picking this game up this weekend(probably today...friday)

This looks a lot like a modern day version of Myth and if it's half as good as Myth was it's a must have.
