I tried to play it on several different occasions, but I'm not good in remembering combo moves and whatnot.

Just seemed way to confusing. :/

Although I remember bitching about the level load times in Raven games and using this game as an example that fast level load times were possible. Hehe :)

I loved this game. My copy sits proudly in my collection. Heavy Metal just wasn't well known. It was more of an underground thing. The game needed more advertising. But people missed out on a well made game, with wonderful graphics via the Quake engine.

I was a tester for this game.. I actually have an easter egg in the game that Levelord put in there for me. When I lived in Dallas, I tested for severa companies and Ritual was by far my favorite. The guys at Ritual are just regular guys.. everywhere else I tested, the people acted like they were rock stars and too good to deal with a lowly tester.

I would love to read an actual post mortem about the game instead of what amounts to little more than a Far Cry Instincts-style advertisement (such as the one Ubi ran in Game Informer, disguised as an article). I loved the game and all, but seriously now...

My favorite part was towards the bottom:

FAKK2 had outstanding art and production values. It's too bad the animation system they used was the wobbly jello type....it just doesn't hold up as well as the rest of the art, audio and design.
