I'm not suprised that EA canned the Montreal office. Ubisoft owns all of the talent in Montreal anyway...

Goodbye BFV and SF designer/developers. We hardly knew thee but you did an awesome job in my books...

I hope they kept the mappers who worked on BF2:SF. I have been playing it all the time lately. Very under-rated level design.

This needs more information. EA has/had an EA Montreal that wasn't DICE, I believe (they are making other products like Army of Two - http://xbox360.ign.com/objects/825/825894.html ). I don't think they pulled the plug on those products.

This might just mean they shutdown the separate DICE office and moved those employees in the same building as the rest of EA Montreal.

I played DICE related products and I can't say they were the best things in the world. It's sad for the people working there but from what they produced they won't be missed, the same could be said about Vivendi although Vivendi is staying alive by just making things that look pretty.
