Just upgraded from a 19" LCD to a 21" Wide LCD. 1680x1050 hawtness.

I got a Samsung 215TW, it is on clearance at Office Depot right now. $399 - 100MIR. On the 13th the price goes down to $299 - 100MIR.

Hlep Shakc!

Getting kinda sick of my job. There really isn't anywhere to go. If I stay I'll be 50 and still setting up computers and telling people to shut up and reboot over and over.

I want a new job but I have a problem though. I only have an associates degree, I have a paper MCSE (just a bootcamp), and I have very little networking experience - all my job time for the last 8 years has been troubleshooting and setting up Windows desktops. Plus I'm in a small city, not close to Austin or Dallas.

What should I do? Get my current job to pay for a bachelor's degree or getting more certs or just throw my resume out there and see what sticks? And if I do throw the resume out there, where exactly should I throw it?

He seemed to have pretty good answers to all the questions and didn't show any of the arrogance some of the other Sony execs have portrayed lately. I think he was right on the money when he said it's content that will ultimately decide if the system succeeds or not and judging by Sony's traditional (and continued) strong presence in Japan and relations with Japanese devs, the PS3 will end up the top system just as before despite its delays.

I just got back from Wal-Mart during my lunch break. Holy shit they had this new Optimus Prime that was freaking huge. We're talking xbox huge and it came with tons of little accessories. I was like a little kid again...

It was $80 though... my adult side quickly emerged and punched my inner child in the face so I left the store empty handed :[

say you have a samsung dlp, with a native resolution if 1280x720 that supports both 720p and 1080i

what happens when i supply a 1080i signal to the tv? physically there are only so many pixels, does the tv downscale the image? what actually occurs?

Speaking of Lucky Number Slevin, I hate Shawn Edwards. This dumbass reviews movies all the time and praises the crappiest of the crap. I work at blockbuster so I'm privlegd to see the quotes on all the movies he has reviewed. Off the top of my head these are some of his gems.

White Chicks - FUnniest movie of 2004

Lucky Number Slevin - I loved this movie! If you take the best parts of Pulp Fiction, The Usual Suspects and The Professional, this is what you get. The best thriller of the year.

Scary Movie 4 - The best Scary Movie yet! The laughs come fast and are furiously funny!
