Titan Quest Patch Plans

3

This post on the TitanQuest.net forums outlines what's planned for an upcoming patch for the game. There will be some bug fixes, but mostly it will deal with balancing changes. Thanks Blues News.

Meh, wake me up when there's an expansion. As it is, my level 60 Summoner can solo the end boss on Legendary (hardest) difficulty in under 30 seconds. It may sound wierd for someone to call for a nerf on their own class, but I really hope that this:

    - Changed max and/or ultimate levels for Core Dweller skill

means they're nerfing the core dweller. As it is, my core dweller has more armor/hitpoints/resistance than a max-level tank could possibly have. He can litterally stand in front of the end boss and take his fire breath full on the face and not have his hitpoints move. Something's wrong with that.

Yup. They did an absolutely horrible job balancing this game. Fun, but very unbalanced. After reading the patchnotes, looks like they are taking care of quite a few balancing issues (ahem, Ternion).

Did you read the patch notes? Typhon sounds like he's changed dramatically. He'll have access to all his skills right off the bat, without interaction with the statues. Also the mobs on the way to him are stepped up in difficulty. It'll probably be much tougher.

Yah, I know. It's just a bit too little too late. My guy is already fully geared out in legendary quality (purple) items. I've already seen all there is to see in the game. Why would I bother downloading the patch to run through a harder version of the same content for the same drops?

I could be convinced to go back and play my Conquerer if they managed to ungimp melees... I doubt they did though especially if they cranked up the difficulty. The last Telkein on Epic difficulty can kill my Conquerer in under 5 seconds. Sure my conquerer does 2000+ dps, but when you have to get into melee range to do that damage, you're class-a fucked against anything that's doing magical damage.
