Call me picky but I can't get into a game where someone's feet aren't moving the same pace as the landscape under them.

Anyone know how that worked out for them? Pretty interesting concept.

Does Savage 2: A Tortured Soul still have the day/night cycle like in Savage 1? I loved how it looked aesthetically, and at the same time, affected gameplay enough that if you were looking towards the sunrise it would be harder to notice the enemy coming that way with the sun glaring at you, and gave the other team a tactical advantage if coming from that particular side.
Anyone care to answer, maybe even S2Jason? I don't remember reading a thread in the Savage forums that answers this...of course, I could be wrong. I'd hate to play maps that are ONLY dawn, day, dusk, night and dont cycle through them in realtime.

After Oblivion, I don't think anyone actually cares what a bunch of grass and terrain looks like ;)
Beta, please. :\

But with the UI and that sword guy standing in front of it like that, it definitely overpowers the scene and makes all those shots identical.
I guess this is an attempt to not get the, "Why can't we see some actual shots that the player would be able to see?" questions that always happen with RTS shots when they are showing off graphics.
