1Quake3 benchmarks abound this morning. Got a few places for you to check out. I would recommend checking out the FiringSquad article to have a look at the K7 Athlon and Dual P3's in action. Looks like the TNT2 is blowing away the V3's on the higher end systems. The guys at Ultra3D has a lengthy article which is worth reading as well.

Weird. Some small company named AMD comes out with a processor that beats the P3 by a few %, and suddenly intel processors suck, and AMD chokes P3.
Well dudes, I\'m gonna save my cash for a while and wait for the new intels. (Supposedly with bigger cache.) I wouldnt be too surprised if Intel holds the fastest consumer level processor by the end of the year. (For example, what-o-what can SSE *REALLY* do? 3DNow! has been out for a while, but SSE optimisations have barely begun)
