Savage 1 Now Free

This would be cool if the game was better. Still a nice gesture all things considered. Too bad it's not very well-balanced and the combat is horrific.

This is a pretty fun game to play. I recommend people download and check this out. Get the mods listed on that page too though.

Though Savage 1 may not completely satisfy many people's "want" for "realistic" graphics, which, along with "realistic" physics, which seems to be the latest trend to follow for those gamers who think that realism=hip(pretty much everyone). To me though, graphics are being so overhyped that companies are trying to make up with good graphics for what they lack in gameplay. For Savage 1, though a slightly older game now, to me at least...what it lacks in graphics, it more than makes up for in great gameplay. Since it's free now, give it a try and you just might like it.

Long live S2Games :) with any luck, a savage 3 might end up on their "to do" list in the coming years, and I'd have to give them a cookie(in addition to the one I want to give them for being in the progress of creating Savage 2)
