New Oblivion DLC Coming

Bethesda's OblivionDownloads.com site has been updated, offering information on the latest official plugin which is being released this Thursday. The 99 cent download, called Spell Tomes, will add spell...tomes. It will hit the Xbox Live Marketplace on Thursday as well.

IMO the dungeons are by far Oblivion's weakest part, they're just repetitive and boring after a short while, and I'm certainly not gonna pay a single cent for any content for which I have to do more dungeon crawls, especially not for some spelltomes for stuff I can create myself...

regarding the oh-so-perfect game - some of you must be playing a different Oblivion than me. I prolly got every single existing quest/script bug in the game, many of which are only fixable with console commands (and no, the patch didn't help with many of them) and I had it unrecoverably freeze for no apparent reason, numerous times. So I wouldn't be so quick with calling it bugfree and stable ;)

i guess with all the user created patches and fixes they gave up on trying to patch the game themselves? as much as i love bethesda to death, they should try fixing some shit before they release more of this crap.

I've custom made all the spells they have listed as examples, without going into the CS even. The weakest DLC to date. Period.

Don't know why they refer to it as DLC4 even though it's actually the seventh piece of downloadable content. I guess maybe separate teams or groups working on items and some get done faster then others?
