Counter-Strike: Source Update Released

According to the Steam website the promised Counter-Strike: Source update is now available. It features the new radar system and a HDR version of de_train. Other changes

- The players eye height while crouching now matches their in-game player model eye position more closely - SourceTV now shows the weapon in first-person view - SourceTV supports the tv_transmitall command - Assorted exploit fixes

The new radar blows chunks.

There has got to be a wait to turn off all the spammy ass icons such as which direction your teammates are looking...and wtf is with the fucking dots on the radar getting larger when the player is nearer to you. Reminds me of the riot shield. 'hay guyz this is c00l'

Are there console commands to adjust the zoom on the mini-map? How about a 'fixed North / rotate with player' toggle command? Those are extremely useful.

most servers are still getting updated.

i have HDR turned off since it's just a negative impact on gameplay at this point in gaming. when a game comes out that forces it on for every player (ie requires a certain level of GPU), the playing field will be level.

Is it true the CTs can see the bomb on radar when it's dropped/planted now? If so that's a bit cheap and hopefully just a bug. Either that or someone was just confused by the Spectator map which is different from the In-game one.

okay here's the first piece of advice: don't be scared by the giant mini-map when you're a spectator. the one while you're alive and playing is not quite as atrocious.

i still want to know the console commands to tweak the map, if there are any. I'd like to be able to shrink it or zoom it out a bit to see the entire map.
