(VERY) Late to the party, I know.

I'd like to know if anyone was a follower of the ILB phenomenon. I recently discovered (I got an XBox 360 and I picked up Halo 2 as one of my launch games) ILB and got all the audio - since then I've been STUNNED, nay MEGAFREAKINGSTUNNED at the quality behind this thing - aaaaand I want to know if there's any followup.

Can anyone help the widow's son a new convert? I guess I'd just like a conclusion to what happens after the raid sirens go off.

Playing through H2 now; I have a feeling Bungie can't measure up to what the ILB people started.

EA just continues to piss me off with Madden 07. It seems their new bright idea was to have achievements unlock Hall of Famers, who are then added the the roster as free agents. In my Superstar game, the Broncos signed some 99 overall QB and benched Plummer.

The only way around this is to save a default roster and load it when you create a Superstar, Franchise, etc. No easy on or off option.

SO ANNOYING.

In Dead Rising, if I save and then start over, I don't get to keep weapons do I. I just got the mini's and have them all powered up (being vague cause I don't like spoiler tags) and i've been riding around trying to kill lots of zombies. The only thing is at the rate i'm doing it I doubt i'll be able to get enough before the 72 hours are up.

All that aside this game is awsome not the best but it's quite fun, I'd love to see a gta type game with as many characters on screen as DR can put up. I wonder if, I forget the name now, the cop game, will be any good. I saw the some what cheesy car transformation videos so I'm leery. Oh well back to the killing, I gotta find an excavator... well when I'm done genociding this stupid town.

Xboxic: How long is singleplayer part of the game and how much time would you expect someone to spend in singleplayer mode as compared to multiplayer?
Takeuchi: The singleplayer is around 10 hours, and there are a lot of multiplayer modes so it varies a lot from person to person.

So Quicksilver for the mac is pretty nice, the type-to-lauch feature being the most immediately useful. Would it be so hard for someone to cook up something similar in Windows? I know it lacks spotlight, but indexing all .exe files can't be that hard.

Suit menz

BF2 MENZ

So, I broke down and bought Special Forces yesterday, primarily for the unlocks. Once I figured out you actually have to accumulate some points on SF servers to get the free unlocks, I was off to the races.

Boy, oh boy... do I ever love the F2000. I know the Sniper unlock is supposed to be super-powerful, but I hate playing as a sniper, so I took pretty much everything else.

Another observation: the players on SF servers really suck! I mean, I was slaughtering people like they were AI bots on Easy. The SF maps are pretty fun, but really punish my system... I sometimes crash to the desktop just after clicking "Ready" as my compy struggles to buffer all the sounds.

Damnit, my hand picked a hell of a time to go to crap on me.

We've got all these incredible PC games coming out in the next few months (TF2, Quake Wars, Crysis, Gothic 3, Supreme Commander, Bioshock, etc) and I'm starting to develop carpel-tunnel / arthritis in my left hand! All I know is that my hand has started becoming tight and sore from using the keyboard, and I know WASD isn't helping. My hand remains sore throughout the day now, even when I'm not at a keyboard. I tried switching back to my Nostromo n50, but that doesn't seem to be helping the problem--my WASD hand is done for!

Has anybody here had any success relieving hand cramping, or is there a way to use a console controller with one hand and a mouse in the other? I refuse to switch to console games exclusively just because of this, especially in a time when the PC is about to see a revival. Help me!

I have the ez4lite, it's a great little card.. but if you are thinking about it.. hold off. (don't know how long).. but a repost prob... The DS Link, takes in MicroSD on a DS card. No fooling around with 2 adapters (Pass3 and GBA flash card holder) just stick in the card and a microSD into it. (it does the pass3, and flashcard) battery life should be normal, but prob. no GBA support.
