Steam To Add PopCap Titles
by Maarten Goldstein, Aug 22, 2006 12:50pm PDTFor those of you who have somehow managed to miss out on games like Bejeweled, Feeding Frenzy or Zuma so far, Valve sends along a press release announcing that PopCap Games titles will be coming to Steam soon. Seventeen PopCap games will be available August 30, with a trial version available for all of them.

Holy crap, jedi_27 might get his XBOX360 back! And as an added bonus, the PC would be tied up so he wouldn't be able to post anymore!! Talk about your total win-win situations!

My wife has bought like 3-4 games via PopCap and loves them - but when we do a reformat or move her to a new PC, it's not clear (from her anyway) how, if at all, the games are portable. I'm sure they are but the whole "hey download my game" thing Steam is pretty good at.
