It's pretty good but very difficult. Your soldiers will die in seconds if you aren't careful. In the second mission one enemy sniper killed my whole squad before I even noticed.

It definitely can be at points, but it forces you to be pretty strategic in how you tackle missions. I just spent the last few months beta testing this game so I may be a bit biased, though.
