More Counter-Strike: Source Changes Coming

After the radar update, "we'll be taking a look at the economy of Counter-Strike and how we're pricing weapons."

Really though, what I'd like to see is a limit to the number of AWPs and AutoSnipers in action per team. That would completely solve the issue of everyone on the winning team grabbing AWPs and locking down the losing team since they can't traverse a single hallway or alleyway without getting dead. Currently the AWP is the instant server clearer, because once they start coming out in quantity, the losing team starts leaving the server because the fun factor evaporates.
The economy is fine. Everything else is fine. Just limit the number of AWPs via a server-side variable. That way people can enable the AWP and AutoSniper without having to worry about the game getting ruined.
I'd limit it to two per team total of AWPs and AutoSnipers. So you could have a max of two of either or one of each. Perfect solution, really, and much like many other games. People very quickly get used to having to wait to be a sniper if there are already two on their team. Or they can take a Scout and still be a sniper, unlike in other games where you straight-up can't be a sniper if the max per team has been met.

I can see why it would be fun for some because it certainly provides that 'one more try' mentality and the simplistic nature of the gameplay also has its own appeal for its crowd of fans. I AM curious, however, what the nature of these changes would be...

The only change I really want at this stage in the game is maybe making the AWP $10,000, that would leave it in but make it a goal to work too.
I also kind of wish they would just get rid of the AWP, I ONLY play on AWP-restricted servers and it makes the game much more energetic and faster.

Make the weapons cheaper, and the game will be a bit more "even". Make the good weapons (rifles) a lot more expensive, and the first two rounds of a game are going to play a huge role in the final outcome of a match with a limited number of rounds.
