Moral of the story from the video ... don't play Empire. Orcs, Dwarves, Elves, and Dark Elves can fight to a stand off ... but humans just get their arses handed to them.

The screenshots for this game look so unbelievably badass. They have a dark mood to them. Examples of what I'm talking about:

But this video was just kinda boring looking. I think there just weren't enough animations. Everything was really stiff and too synchronized looking.

I thought it looked good for what it was - which was basically an army chasing down a few stragglers like what you do in the last few minutes of a Total War battle. They should have shown some face crunching combat, would have been a lot better.

Impressive zoom level although it didn't exactly seem smooth, I don't know about this game ... I want to love it, but something doesn't seem quite right in the videos. Maybe it will be better with full sound (I assume sound was dulled/muted on the vid).
