replyAfter getting rehooked on Civilization 4 and getting into the Pirates game for the first time lately, I gotta say I'm really looking forward to this game. Hopefully it'll be as simple to get into and as deep as the other two games.

Pirates! deep game? hahaha. It was their worst game :( The first day or two playing it are awsome then it gets painfully repetative. It could of been a classic.
Civ is insanely addictive. I don't see how the idea of railroads is interesting though - i just don't... 'care' about railroads. But if anyone can make them interesting, it's these guys. It doesn't seem like they've been working on it that long but we'll see.
