by Maarten Goldstein, Aug 14, 2006 4:37am PDTAccording to this story on Yahoo!, actor William Shatner will reprise his role as Captain James T. Kirk for the upcoming Star Trek: Legacy. "I couldn't imagine someone else playing Captain Kirk, even in a video game, so I kind of got a little territorial". Star Trek: Legacy, due out later this year, will feature missions, ships and foes covering all five Star Trek TV series. Thanks FiringSquad. Update: Bethesda sends along a press release announcing that all five captains will be voiced by their original actors: William Shatner, Patrick Stewart, Scott Bakula, Avery Brooks, and Kate Mulgrew.

And what is with this shitty player?
