So, Dahanese, Chris Remo, and myself have decided to do this podcast about the video game industry and it's called "Played". We would love love love it if you guys would check it out and lets us know what you think.
The first episode is now out and can be found here, http://web.mac.com/heymarkd (dont forget to subscribe!). I've sent the podcast to Apple this morning for submission to iTunes, so it should be there in a few days. We plan on releaseing an episode once a week (omg episodic podcasting olololo) that's full of our opinions on recent gaming news, what we're currently playing, and of course rants. The first episode runs a full hour, but we're most likely going to cut things back a bit with future episodes and will scale things back to 45mins (or more depending on your comments, so please post them here or send them to hotforplayed@gmail.com).

My "ugh, I hate making up usernames" bias got the best of me when I finally delurked last year, but I'm ready to drop this boring one and switch to something a little less dull.

I need a better ghosting solution. I've used Symantec ghost and well it just can blow me. Getting it to boot off CD and then to read the network card is just a laughing matter. Half of the time it won't read external hard drives connected via USB.
Is this too much to ask for? Boot off a CD, copy the hard drive, bit for bit to either an SMB or FTP share, boot up the next PC and read+write that image? I could even handle writing the image to a USB2 hard drive if I had to.

Is The Ship worth 19.95?
buy my xbox360. Bought it a few months ago, it's the Premium variety, works great, I'm hopefully moving away where they don't allow xboxing. The only game I have for it is Oblivion. It's locked up only Once right after I managed to get a horse in the game. I've played it perhaps 6-12hrs total (hooray for smart investments!) The premium came with: Network cord, wireless controller, powersupply/power-cord, AV Cables, and Headset for Live. I never activated whatever LIVE coupon is in there.
I live in Orange County, California. This package will be shipped however you want (bonus points if you can pick it up) but it MUST be insured (costs $6 for insurance probably). You pay S&H + Ins. I don't want Paypal, and since I'm closing my bank accounts, I'm not about the Transfer stuff. So I guess it's either Check, or, if you're feeling spicy, Money Order for the absolute Win. I'm trying not to seperately sell the system and Oblivion, but I can deal with selling just the system.
How much? Out the door from Circuit City (system) + Best Buy (game) cost me about $500, but you can have it for $370? If that's a slap in the face, we can talk deal.

WOW this is impressive. Very diggin the story line and the evnviroments. But the place sucks, and wow it gives me a chilled feeling. Same type of chilling feeling I had with Quake 2 now that I think of it.
Metal, concrete, steel, fences, sentries. Cold. Heartlsee, unorganic.

What brand of battery backup should I look for, other than APC? Is there a particular APC model I should look at that has interesting features?

Some of the acting was bad. I laughed out loud a few times. Rick Gonzalez, Ian Somerhalder, and of course Kristen Bell were all good, but a few of the supporting actors were all lol wtf i'm like scared and stuff.
My standards for movies are pretty low, mind you. Compared to most of you Shackas. For example I enjoyed the Blade movies, Underworld, and the Resident Evil films. I hated Ultraviolet, and the Uwe Boll movies were pretty fucking awful. So there's some perspective for ya.
It was mildly entertaining. If you're bored (as I was) and want some way to kill about 90 minutes, its worth a few bucks as a Twilight/Matinee showing.
Also I'm no tech guru so I don't know about all the wi-fi technobabble they were trying to pass off as original in the film, but if you like to take your films seriously, pass this one. I like the occasional popcorn flick, as this movie was. I've definitely seen worse horror films in my time.

Plus, ever since I watched The Usual Suspects I guess, I've got this knack of being able to see where the story is going 100 miles away... I guessed the big twist that Bruce and Josh were remnants of the horse race story. Still, it was nice seeing how it all fit together, if only after the brutality of the kills of the two bosses could they have kept it short, cold and non-hollywood, I would've been happier with it.
Overall, B- flick, wouldn't watch again.

Second half starts and Ronaldhino is finally in the game. Everytime he touches the ball the crowd goes nuts and most of the time he touched it he deserved all the cheers. He was really living up to his name, burning defenders quite a bit. However Club America scores AGAIN making it 4-1. I think at this point Barcelona said they were done messing around and put in a few more big names, edmilson, Messi. Finally in the the 84th minute, Ronaldhino made a couple of moves on the right side of the box 18 yards out, got a pass off to a man inside, who passed it on again and Saviola put it in. My buddy actually got this goal on video so I'll post a video when I get it from him. 4 minutes later Ronaldhino got a run at the keeper and was taken down pretty hard from behind leading to a PK which he put away. Score now 4-3. The crowd was going completely nuts wondering if Barcelona could tie this up. Then in the first minute of extra time, Saviola passed across the box where Eto'o headed in the tying goal.
tldr version - I got to see Barcelona come back from 4-1 with 5 minutes in the game to tie the game oh and Ronaldhino is amazing

The maps themselves total close to 100MB and I don't have that kind of hosting space. Some of those are definitely already on blarg.cc, some might not be. Maybe we can get bawbeh the ones he doesn't have on the server and set some of these maps up in rotation so we can try out some new stuff, stop overplaying a couple maps, and get rid of the crappy maps that sometimes come up?
