I think the Fileshack download for the Galactic Civilizations 2 Demo may be corrupt. I get to 19% install and it stops with a corrupt download message. Of course it could be my download.

maybe the hype's gone but I still love this game and occasionally play a round or two vs. AI enemies. I'll prolly check the expansion out, not sure yet tho. Speaking of "when I lose" - I recently played the SotS demo and quickly got back to GalCiv2 after I got continously zerged by AI battlefleets with 100+ ships. Sure I could zerg back but IMO that wasn't really fun...

Alas, all the GC2 Shackhype is dead and gone. Such a great game (until I get angry when I lose and damage my keyboard)....
