I am blown away that not a single review of the DS Lite mentioned the lower audio quality it has compared to the old DS. The case, the buttons, the screens (wow), everything is a huge huge improvement over the original.

Except the audio.

The speakers are as much a step back as the screens are a step forward. The DS Lite audio is quiet and muffled in comparison to the huge audio the DS put out. Other people have mentioned this as a problem so I know it isn't just my unit.

I understand that they may have had to cut back on the speakers to reduce the size or power comsumption of the DS Lite. Again, I'm just surprised that not a single hardware review mentioned anything about this. Maybe I'm just greedy, but I'm definately very surprised and it'll take time to get used to this.

Stoked to pick up motogp. The demo was seriously fun multiplayer. Some serious racing going on. Should be quite a competetive game.

What are some good games for the DS? The ones I want to pickup are:

-Metroid Prime: Hunters
-Magnetica (rippoff of Zuma)
-New Mario Bros
-Burnout maybe..
-Mario Kart

Any word on the next Phoenix Wright production run? I want dis game.
Also, will Trauma Center get another run? Its pretty hard to find now...

I posted about this earlier but no one seemed to know... have you heard anything about being able to download games from the Wii to the DS? Because the ability to buy SNES games through the Wii then download them to the DS and play em on the go would be so utterly awesome. Although I don't know how it could be saved to the DS... if they introduced blank carts that would make all kinds of bootleg problems...

So the DS Lite is pure sex. I love it. The bright screens were worth the price of admission alone. This is what the original DS was meant to be. It's sleekness easily matches the PSP's asthetic (but with a better digital pad).

DS Lite is so incredibly tempting. Quick, someone list a reason why I shouldn't run out and buy it!

The DS Lite is so sexy. I haven't personally owned a handheld gaming system since the original Game Boy, and haven't extensively played one since the original GBA. This blows them all out of the water as far as impressing me, though. The screens are brilliant, and the overall look is * S H O U L D H A V E S E N T A P O E T ' D *. And The New Super Mario Bros is one heck of a pseudo-launch game.

I remember when Team 17 only made Amiga games *sniff*.

I might get SFA anthology if the price is right. It will the be first and ONLY sf collection for me.
