We mentioned Intel slashing prices yesterday, and it looks like AMD will follow suit. According to The Inquirer, several top-line Athlon CPUs will become some 50% cheaper soon.

yes this needs to happen.. they got to be making made cash on graphics cards!! When did it get ok for high-end graphics cards to cost $500+

The story should read "and it looks like AMD has followed suit" Many resellers have dropped prices through the floor already. This has been going on for about 24 hours.
